SBOLDP Agility Courses Dedication Ceremony
What a glorious day for dogs and people to come together to dedicate the new dog agility courses at the Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park (SBOLDP), 17550 Victory Blvd., on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Hosted by the Los Angeles City Department of Recreation and Parks and Councilwoman Nury Martinez of the Sixth District, the dedication ceremonies celebrated the work of Conrad Rutherford, 17, a member of Northridge Boy Scout Troop 307 who raised the money and organized volunteers to build the agility courses in each of the three areas of the dog park.
Rutherford is himself a dog-lover. His family has three dogs: a golden retriever, a shih tzu and a schnauzer mix.
